Listen. We can all agree that Simmons with a knife is good. He deserves it.

But think about the rest of the iconic weapons of red team. Shotgun. Bruteshot. Grenades. Rocket launcher. Explosive, short range, big chunky weapons of the “fuck you and everyone around you” variety.

Blue team is the team with knives. And swords. And a sniper rifle that never hits anything and an assault rifle that fires confetti. Blue team is allergic to working guns and would just prefer to either play mind games or stab you in the face. A more familiar, personal, battle.

Meanwhile red team is regarding enemy troops as crunchy speed bumps and addressing rpg rounds with “To whom it may concern”

i think a lot about how agent washington has SUCH a broad skill set. like he may not be an expert at everything but he's pretty good at a LOT of different things, and seems to be pretty good at learning new things fairly quickly (like his leadership skills during chorus, for example). we think about this a lot in terms of battle/general military skills, but i like to imagine it applies to other, more mundane things as well. one of my main examples i think about often is how after tucker got stabbed in s12, he would've needed someone to help him do his hair since he couldn't do it alone so now suddenly wash is devoting himself to learning how to do braids.

The second you walked through your apartment door, you were ambushed and pushed forcefully against the door, knife to your throat.

Your eyes widened and you gasped as the redhead pressed the sharp object against your supple skin. Natasha met your gaze with her fiery, dark eyes. Her other hand held you firm against the door, with her body trapping you.

“Heyyy Detka…” the redhead wickedly purred.

“Hi Nat” you breathed out.

Natasha watched your pupils dilate in don’t of her own eyes, as she continued to press the knife on your neck. She then swiftly pulled you into a brutal kiss. Her lips dominated yours and you couldn’t help but moan as you were still restricted by the sharp metal at your throat.

The redhead pulled away for a breath, and she then retracted the blade.

“Bedroom.” She breathed out.

You nodded breathlessly, practically bouncing to your shared bedroom. You scurried to remove all of your clothing as quick as you could. Natasha sauntered up to the doorway of the bedroom, shamelessly and amusingly watching you undress.

“You like the knife?” The redhead asked.

That was her way of checking in with you about it.

You stopped at taking your bra off to look at the woman. Your eyes widened and you nodded vigorously. Natasha swiftly came up to you, pressing the blade to your chest, in between your breasts. She applied more pressure this time around.

“I need words.” The redhead demanded seriously.

“Yes. Don’t stop.” You whimpered.

You then felt the blade slice into the skin in between your tits slightly, feeling the little blood trickle down into your bra. You winced lightly, a wave of shivers and goosebumps washing over your skin. Natasha did this all with a wicked grin on her face. Your mouth was agape and you were rendered semi-speechless.

“I—It’s Hot.” You managed to choke out, making Natasha chuckle.

“Good. Because we won’t be stopping anytime soon…” the redhead lustfully husked in your ear.
